Sidney Young, Ph.D. is a Rehabilitation Neuropsychologist and former US Army (Active Duty/Army Reserve) and Army National Guard (ARNG) Chaplain/Lieutenant Colonel (LTC). Dr. Sid served his country, fellow Soldiers, and Families from 1986 through 2007 as an US Army Chaplain. Professionally, Dr. Sid has taught at the High School and University levels, while maintaining a private psychology and consulting practice. He has taught at Brigham Young University, Cornell University and Southern Utah University Institute of Religion. Dr. Sid is the founder of Premier Psychological Counseling and Consulting, PC (Premier PCC) and Premier TMS. He has consulted with corporate, business and community leaders improving organizational and individual performance. He has extensive experience treating children, adolescents and adults suffering from Personality Disorders, Depression, Bi-Polar Disorder, Anxiety and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). He has experience in treating physical, emotional, sexual and psychological trauma within the civilian and military environments. Dr. Young was formerly the inpatient Rehabilitation Psychologist on the Neuro Specialty Rehabilitation Unit at Dixie Regional Medical Center, Intermountain Healthcare. Dr. Sid is the past President of the Utah Psychological Association. He is the past volunteer Disaster Mental Health Director for the American Red Cross, Southern Utah Chapter, a member of the Utah State Critical Incident Stress Management Team and the Medical Reserve Corps. Dr. Sid is married to Kris Ann Lundberg Young. They have six children and 26 grandchildren who keep them young in heart and spirit.
Dr. Brown comes to us with years of experience in Psychiatry and Academia.
He has practiced medicine as a psychiatrist for 35 years in Utah, holding positions at Utah State Hospital as President of the Medical Staff, Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, Brigham Young University, Charter Canyon Hospital, the Mission Training Center and maintained a private practice. Dr. Brown is currently working at Dixie Regional Medical Center as a psychiatrist.
He has held many positions in Utah’s Professional Societies, including serving as President of both the Utah Psychiatric Association and Utah County Medical Society.
Prior to obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Brown taught Physiology for ten years at LSU Shreveport, BYU Hawaii and the University of Maryland.
Trevor Gee is a Registered Nurse and both the Nurse Manager for the clinic and a Certified TMS Technician. Trevor studied Nursing at Dixie State University where he graduated with his BSN and is currently pursuing a career as a Nurse Practitioner in the field of Psychiatry. He has a background in mental health and critical care nursing with over 5 years of providing patients with extraordinary care.
Trevor is an avid jazz musician and gamer, but he is most passionate about helping others reach their health and wellness goals.
Matthew Chesley is a Certified TMS Tech, Nurse Assistant, and qualified bilingual interpreter (Spanish) with six years of exceptional quality care for those with and without special needs. He graduated with a bachelor’s in nutrition science and Spanish, and desires to get a doctorate in nursing. Matthew specializes in the physical, mental, and emotional care of all his clients. A strong believer in connecting with others and the power of positive thinking, he regularly strives to make an uplifting difference in others and himself. Matthew enjoys spending time with his family, have it be, at home or in the wide outdoors. He is proud to be part of our team here at Premier TMS-Utah.
Alexander Andersen is a full-time student Dixie State University studying exercise science. One day he plans on becoming a physician’s assistant. He previously worked at a Skilled Nursing Facility as a CNA, has his EMS certifications and is a Certified TMS Technician. Alexander is excited to help pave the way for TMS treatment in Utah with Premier TMS!
AmyAnika Gee is a Certified TMS Technician. She is currently studying Psychology at Dixie State University and intends to continue her education for a Master’s degree. She is also a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant and is passionate about helping others find healing. Amy believes that Premier PCC can truly make a difference in people’s lives and help them find the hope people are looking for.
Johanna Harless received her B.S. in Business Management – Finance from Brigham Young University and her J.D. from Southwestern University, School of Law. She has worked as private portfolio manager for 20 plus years. Johanna did an internship, at the California Dept. of Corporations writing Legal Briefs and Points and Authorities for Securities Fraud cases. Prior to that, she worked as Fixed Income Analyst, at CMB Investment Counselors (over 3 billion under management), performing financial statement and ratio analysis, which included providing quantitative and qualitative reviews of the financial health of companies in order to support investment team decision making. She has been married for 30 years and has 3 wonderful adult children. Johanna has recently moved to St. George, Utah and is eager to become part of this new community. Her new role at Premier Psychological Counseling & Consulting, PC. includes financial consulting, marketing and office management.
